WooPride Sports is a 501(c)(3) non-profit bringing the queer and allied community together through sports, connection, and celebration.

Founded in Fall 2022 with just 50 players and indoor kickball, we’ve grown to 170 active players and counting, now offering outdoor kickball, indoor dodgeball, and indoor volleyball, with more to come as our league expands.

We welcome all skill levels and create inclusive, affirming spaces where community comes first. At WooPride, it’s more than just a game, it’s a place to play, connect, and belong. This league has been created with the LGBTQIA+ community in mind, but we welcome all players regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. All skill levels are encouraged to participate, play, and volunteer. We are committed to delivering a welcoming and inclusive environment with all league activities including kickball, volleyball, and dodgeball, giving back to the community through educational, outreach, volunteer and community service activities. Through recreational sports we foster an environment where LGBTQIA+ people can:

• Learn about and participate in a friendly team sport environment
• Be social in a safe and inclusive space on and off the field
• Build friendships and develop a social support system amongst LGBTQIA+ and allied teammates, sharing common values of diversity, inclusion, and curiosity
• Create opportunities for healthy exercise for all
• Volunteer in various capacities at different community service events
• Promote education and awareness of sexual health topics during community events
